Mitten Kitten Mashup

On November 5th & 6th Killamazoo participated in the Michigan state derby tournament named Mitten Kitten Mashup held in Utica along with eight other teams, proud to represent their Michigan area. Motor City Disassambly Line, Detroit; Flint City Derby Girls; Lansing Derby Vixens; Traverse City Toxic Cherries, Mid Michigan Derby Girls; Jack Town Derby Girls; Floral City Derby Girls and Ann Arbor Derby Dimes Brawlstars.

Killa Crew played a bonus game in the tourney against Ann Arbor. The intense game ended with a score of Ann Arbor 109 - Killa Crew 98.

Killamazoo's travel team beat out Jack Town Rollers and Lansing Derby Vixens to play for the overall win against Motor City Disassembly Line who defeated Floral City and Flint City.

At the end of a hard fought battle KDD lost to MCDL but skated away with second place in the tournament. Along with the trophy came a great appreciation and derby love for all the skill and talent shown by all participating leagues over the weekend.
